The USS Silversides Submarine Museum will be honoring Sergeant Major (Retired) Jill Mathews – a woman who has given her entire life to serving the military and now serves veterans through WINC. The play centers on Anna as she relives amusing family outings to Michigan lighthouses\, which sparks a desire for telling the amazing tales of several Great Lakes lighthouse keepers who are women. She uses voice and dance to describe the lives of four specific caretakers. She learns the horror of the struggles these courageous ladies endured and the beauty of their souls as she puts herself in their shoes
