Join us for a celebration of the USS Silversides Submarine Museum – honoring the legacy, remembering our military, and educating the community. This event reminds us of all of the sacrifices made by those at home and abroad during World War II and what it was like to celebrate the end of a very trying time.
This Annual Luau Fundraiser provides much needed support for our education programs, overnight encampments, exhibits, and vessel preservation. YOUR support will help thousands of visitors learn more about World War II and how the West Michigan community was affected so many years ago.
We will gather on Thursday, September 7 at 6pm for dinner, drinks and entertainment. Hawaiian attire optional.
The USS Silversides Submarine Museum has partnered with the Lorraine F. and Fred S. Bertsch Jr. Foundation to bring a scholarship opportunity to West Michigan Area. The foundation promotes service at the community, state, and federal level through education at a college or trade school.
The mission of the USS Silversides Submarine Museum is to honor the men and women of the military, preserve military history and provide experiences that educate the public about past and present military history and technology.
