How to Save your seat
At the USS Silversides Submarine Museum, we strive to create engaging and meaningful events for our community. To ensure the success of our programs and cover the costs associated with planning and hosting events, we have established the following refund policy:
- General Policy
- All ticket sales for USS Silversides Submarine Museum events are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for unused tickets, except under the specific circumstances outlined below.
- Canceled or Rescheduled Events
- If an event is canceled by the museum, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- If an event is rescheduled, tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date. If a ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled event, they may request a refund within 2 days of the announcement.
- Illness or Personal Conflicts
- We understand that unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, may arise. However, as event expenses (including catering, venue costs, and entertainment) are incurred in advance, we cannot offer refunds for non-attendance due to personal conflicts, illness, or scheduling conflicts.
- Ticket Transfers
- If a ticket holder is unable to attend, they may transfer their ticket to another individual. The museum does not facilitate ticket resales, but guests may contact us for guidance on transferring tickets.
- Donation Designation
- Some event tickets may include a donation component to support the museum’s mission. In cases where a ticket holder cannot attend, the donation portion of the ticket purchase remains a charitable contribution and is non-refundable.
- Exceptional Circumstances
- Requests for refunds outside of these guidelines will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. However, approval is at the discretion of museum management, and refunds are not guaranteed.
By purchasing a ticket to a USS Silversides Submarine Museum event, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
