The City of Muskegon’s Joe Beyrle Day will be honored at The USS Silversides Submarine Museum by the American Rosie the Riveter Association. Cheboygan and Emmet County Chapter Representatives, Linda Rogers and Angie Morthland, are both retired teachers and descendants of WWII women, Rosies the Riveters, who preserve, pay tribute and advocate the stories of the women who worked to help win the war. Both Joe Beyrle Day and the American Rosie the Riveter Association honor the collective spirit and sacrifices of World War II. They preserve the memory and legacy of those who played crucial roles in the war effort, inspiring future generations with tales of resilience and unity.
