Join Us for an Annual Tribute to Fallen Soldiers

Each year, we gather to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Lights of Honor: Remembering Our Heroes is a moving Memorial Day Weekend tradition where lanterns are dedicated and lit in tribute to fallen soldiers; a powerful, visual ceremony to reflect, remember, and pay respects.

Attending Lights of Honor: Remembering Our Heroes offers a meaningful opportunity to honor those who served and sacrificed for our country. Come together with family, friends, and community members to share in a moment of remembrance and help keep the legacy of our fallen heroes alive for generations to come.

How It Works

  1. Dedicate a Lantern
Visitors may dedicate a lantern to a fallen hero. Each lantern can include:

    • The soldier’s name

    • Branch of service

    • A short message from the donor

  2. Lighting Ceremony
As the sun sets, all lanterns are lit, creating a moving display of light to honor fallen soldiers and those who served across the nation.

  3. Moment of Remembrance
Guests are invited to reflect and honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of those who fought for our freedoms

Dedicate a Lantern

Don’t miss the chance to dedicate a lantern in honor or memory of a loved one. Lantern dedications are open to everyone, whether it’s a local veteran, a family member, or a soldier from Michigan or beyond.
