The Behind the Scenes tour is not accessible to strollers, Segways, or wheelchairs. All participants should be prepared to climb up and down ladders, be in tight spaces, stairs, uneven floors, and crouch down in low clearance areas.
This tour discusses wartime conditions, casualties – all participants should be aware of how this might affect you personally due to PTSD, young participants, etc.
Wear comfortable walking shoes with non-slip soles.
Plan for a 2-3 hour tour depending on questions and number of people to get through small spaces and up and down ladders.
The spaces that we will be sharing with you on this tour are difficult to access. The tour will include a lot of climbing of steep and narrow stairways (ladders) and a lot of bending to accommodate for low head room.
We encourage you to dress appropriately including wearing closed-toed shoes, long pants, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
