Why become a member?

A member of the USS Silversides Submarine Museum is someone who cares about our history. A member is a person that knows that we must never forget the past, nor the sacrifices others have made on our behalf.

The museum receives no tax dollars from outside sources. We are a 501(c) non-profit and we sustain ourselves on admissions to the museum, donations, and most importantly, memberships from patriots like you.

Membership at the Silversides grants you a number of privileges, however, the most important benefit is the knowledge that your annual membership fee enables us to maintain our real Gato-class World War 2 submarine, empowers us to design new exhibits and helps us preserve our history for generations to come.

What to Expect:

After you place your order, our staff will ship you a membership card. You can then use the membership card for access to the museum and any in-person events. Contact us for questions about booking tickets in advance, group activities or virtual events.

Please ensure your address is correct when checking out. This is where we will send your membership card. This card will get you into any museum in the country that is associated with The Association of Science-Technology Centers, The Historic Naval Ships Association or the Time Travelers Association.
